Access Statement

Please find outlined below information we hope will ensure you enjoy your visit to Le Spa regardless of whether your life is affected in some way by a medical condition, impairment, disability or specific learning difficulty.

Reservations/Arrival at le Spa

Reservations can be made directly on the telephone or by email direct to Le Spa.
Directions to le Spa can be found on website or placed in the post upon request.
British Rail Kemble is the nearest railway station, approximately 10 mins drive from Le Spa. Taxis are available and can be pre-arranged.
We have disabled parking available in the Hotel drop off car park near main house/ restaurant entrance. Please follow signs for deliveries when passing through the main car park.
The main house/ restaurant entrance is accessible from the upper car park though a wide door with a very slight ramp over the threshold followed by one step up to the main part of the old building.
Reception staff will be more than willing to assist guests with their luggage and deliver to the hotel room if required.
Access to the main reception from the main car park is via 2 flights of Cotswold stone steps. There is ample car parking in the main car park.
Access to the restaurant, conference facilities, pavilion and hotel is via a step (ramp is available).
Access to Spa reception, Tiger Bar, and lower gymnasium via the main house/ restaurant entrance is level with one door to negotiate.

Public Areas

All corridors and public areas are well lit and wide enough for wheelchairs and mobility aides.
There are various small steps to negotiate throughout the building, however staff are available to assist anyone with specific needs.
Ground level toilets are available next to the restaurant although these are not adapted as disabled toilets and do not have grab rails.
4 Ground level Hotel Bedrooms are available
Le Spa does not have any lifts throughout the building.
There is ample movable seating in both the bar area and restaurant and wheelchairs with or without arms can be accommodated.

Le Spa Leisure Facilities

Treatment rooms, swimming pool area (with jacuzzi, steam room and sauna), external hot tubs, some hotel rooms, changing areas and upper gymnasium are all accessible via stairs and may have doors to negotiate.
There is a sauna and steam room available next to the pool (please check if they are suitable if you have a medical condition).
Both the sauna and the steam rooms have fixed seating inside
Service dogs only are allowed in Le Spa. We request that dogs do not enter the water facilities throughout the spa.
The fire evacuation procedures allow for special requests e.g. reduced mobility or hearing and staff are fully trained to evacuate guests if the alarm is sounded. If you have a special request if evacuation occurs please tell reception on arrival.
